I am form Kozani, which is the capital of North-Western Macedonia in Greece. I was scanning through your web messaging board a few weeks ago and I came across a message that reffered to Greeks in a very hostile and derogotory way. So I left a message calling all you people "Cultural Rapists" because you have stolen the Macedonian heritage from Greece and incorporated it into your own customs.
I want to apologize for the offence and damage that this caused towards you. I did not mean to offend anyone, I was overreacting to that message that I read that offended me deeply.
We Macedonians of Northern Greece hold no grudge against you. I realize that there are some right-wing extremists on your side that hate us, so I want to apologize to all the good people in your country for reffering to you like that. Your country was known as "Vardarska" before General Tito changed it to "Macedonia" in order to steal a Greek identity for his own country. He even invaded Northern Greece after World War Two and attacked the Macedonians of Northern Greece. We defended ourselves and defeated him and your army of Vardarskans.
We do not want anymore trouble with you regarding this name issue!!. We want a peaceful resolution to this mess that your country started and want to get along with your country, once it renounces it's claims against Macedonia, Greece. This all started after World War One, when Macedonia was divided between Greece and Yugoslavia. Greece received 90% and Yugoslavia received 10%. This never should have happened, but your country received a piece of historic Greece that it had no right or claims to.
This is when your country started to refer to themselves as Macedonians, but only to indicate a geographic location, and not a claim to Macedonian ethnicity.
This all changed when General Tito changed all of Southern-Yugoslavia from Vardarska to Macedonia, and the people of your country have been refering to yourselves as Macedonians, when in fact your ancestors made no such claims against Greece, and only reffered to themselves as Vardarskans. We Macedonians of Northern Greece are not related to you. We are all Greek and descendent from an ancient Greek tribe known as the Dorian Greeks.
I want to finish my message to you now and let you know that the real Macedonians of Norhter-Greece want a peaceful and just solution to this crisis, before tempers boil again and we cuase irriversable damage to each other.
